Understanding how a person came to be who they are today is important to grasping their innermost uniqueness. Val’s ability to create the perfect experience at his salon comes from within.
Val is a board-certified hair colorist who has earned national recognition as a member of Goldwell’s Design Cutting Team, where he was selected as one of the top 20 specialists from a pool of 500 in the industry. With a passion for teaching innovative techniques that enhance creativity and salon performance, Val has dedicated 16 years to perfecting his craft as a Goldwell Artist® and owner of Hairsay Salon. He stays at the forefront of the latest trends and styles in hair cutting and coloring, continually evolving to meet the needs of his clients.
Val has trained under some of the nation’s best stylists and educators helping to make him one of the most sought-after stylists. Val’s dedication and commitment to educating himself, and his team, distinctively classifies him as one of the best in the salon industry. Val has put in place a successful apprenticeship program that allows all his stylists to have the same core training and workmanship.
All of the work done at the salon reflects Val’s vision and philosophy, resulting in exceptional craftsmanship, and outstanding client relations making Hairsay Salon in Garden City Park, one of the best salons in Long Island and New York.
