A Sag Awards moment that we will always adore is this picture perfect look by Alicia Vikander. One of our favorite actresses, Alicia Vikander took home the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in 2016. She looked breathtakingly beautiful on the red carpet with her hair parted to the side and pin straight – looking sleek, shiny and smooth. Her stylist, Chris Neselli used GHD’s new Platinum Styler to create the very polished style and sealed it with Kérastase’s Fix Fabulous on the sides for serious hold.
Her make-up was equally impressive. Her skin looked flawless and her eyes popped, yet all the while she looked very natural, and not at all super made-up. For her skin, she prepped it by using a mild exfoliant a few days before the event. Her make-up application in steps: First came a non-greasy moisturizer followed by a face powder in a matte, medium skin tone. Light beige/copper shadow was dusted on the lids and swept under her eyes. The eyes were further enhanced with black eye-liner and false eyelashes enhanced by black mascara for totally “out there” lashes that went on for miles. She used a natural brownish peach blush and a highlighter one shade lighter than her skin powder swept onto her cheekbones and the apples of her cheeks. Her eyebrows were arched to perfection and enhanced with brown powder as well. To finish off the absolutely flawless look, she used a pale mauve pink lipstick.
