The 69th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards red carpet shined with bold, edgy, youthful and romantic looks. We thought these beauty trends were copy-cat worthy for sure. From violet make-up to sleek ponytails and razor cuts, here is our list of the top six red carpet looks we’d like to covet!

Less is Moore! Mandy Moore wowed us with her side swept long bang “with a twist” and her hair up in the back. Her hair color was a glossy, warm chocolate brown and her make-up was soft and sophisticated with groomed brows atop beige shadow on her brow bones and lavender hued shimmery shadow on her eyelids. Where she really made a bold red-carpet statement was her very bright fuchsia pink lip which accentuated her pretty pout and dazzling white smile!

The pony-tail express. Julianne Hough’s romantic look was accented with a black silk grosgrain ribbon that matched her dress straps and was wrapped loosely around her long golden blonde ponytail. Pretty groomed brows with a high arch were the focal point for her beauty look, which had a natural, romantic glow throughout.

Wine lover! Priyanka Chopra’s look was very bold and very burgundy! Her eyes were a smokey burgundy brown and her lips were a dark, bold Bordeaux worthy of a cheese plate. We loved the daring make-up and the sleek, pulled back hairstyle that showcased it. Her feathered sequined dress by Balmain was a standout – as well and her earrings by Lorraine Schwartz which seemed to be custom made to match it.

Purple reign! Padma Lakshmi looked regal on the red carpet as she sported the hot violet/pink red carpet trend with her amethyst eye liner and deep purple shadow. She topped off the look with a pale, matte mauve lip. Her hair was a piece-y, side parted, elongated shaggy bob which framed her face beautifully. This cut is no doubt a master razor cut by a celebrity stylist, well versed in the artful technique pioneered by celeb favorite Michael Gordon of Bumble and Bumble
